Trends tell you whether a unit is getting better, worse, or staying flat. InsightLens surfaces trends in three places.
The Overall Experience Trend card on the Dashboard plots the average overall-experience percentage across every semester you have data for. It’s a single line averaged across all units — useful for spotting institution-wide shifts.
For a deeper look, open any unit from the Units list or from a dashboard card. The Unit Detail page shows a per-unit trend line with one point per offering, so you can see semester-over-semester movement for that unit alone.
Both of these dashboard cards (and their full-page equivalents under Performance Reports) are trend-aware. “Needing attention” isn’t just a low score — it factors in whether the score is declining across recent offerings. That’s what makes them more useful than a flat sorted list.
