The masterclass series
Four independent one-day AI masterclasses. Take any one on its own, or build a pathway.
A common thread runs through all four: when everyone has access to the same AI, the generic output it produces is the baseline, not the advantage. What lasts is human judgement: knowing where AI genuinely helps, where it quietly fails, and where your thinking must stay in charge.
AI in Delivery is one of four one-day AI masterclasses in Curtin University’s Executive Education program. Each stands completely on its own; together they cover the full arc of working with AI in an organisation: using it well, deciding where to invest, delivering projects that ship, and governing it ethically.
All four are searchable, with dates and enrolment, on the Curtin Executive Education masterclasses page.
① AI in Practice
Building Everyday Capability
“How do I use AI well (confidently, critically, and responsibly) in my own work?”
For professionals at any level, no technical background needed. The skill is judgement, not tool use. Leave with a redesigned workflow and reusable decision tools.
② AI in Strategy
Choosing Where to Invest
“Which AI investment is worth real money, and which is a confident-sounding trap?”
For executives, strategists and decision-makers. Leave with a scored, risk-assessed AI investment proposal ready to take to a sponsor.
③ AI in Delivery (you are here)
Leading Projects That Ship
“How do I deliver an AI project without the common, predictable failures?”
For project managers and delivery leads. Leave with a delivery design: scope, roadmap with gates, stakeholder and human-in-the-loop plan, and a risk register.
④ Ethics of Artificial Intelligence
Predict, Prevent & Manage the Risks
“How do I avoid the ethical missteps, negative outcomes and public scandals that AI can cause?”
For anyone responsible for AI risk and governance. Informed by recent AI scandals and the field of AI ethics. Leave with a guidance toolkit and operational checklist customised to your own organisation.
How they fit together
Each masterclass is a complete, standalone day. But they’re designed to complement one another:
- AI in Practice builds the individual fluency the others assume.
- AI in Strategy decides which AI initiatives deserve investment.
- AI in Delivery (this course) takes a funded initiative and ships it.
- Ethics of Artificial Intelligence runs across all of them: the governance, risk and responsibility lens every AI initiative needs.
